Our aim is to get everyone moving well from the sedentary office worker to the elite athlete. Everyone needs to move well to be able to function in daily life. We all need to bend to put our socks on, pick up objects from the ground, sit in a seat and return to standing, turn our heads to check for traffic, walk down the street, even chew our food……..all without restriction or pain.
Functional movement is essential. What is functional movement? Movement that makes you functional – enables you to go about all your daily activities and, if you choose, to participate in physical activity. For those who choose to participate in physical activity whether it be the weekend warrior or the Olympic athlete, functional movement is essential. If your movement is compromised, you’ll end up with an injury.
Pain is an indication that something has gone wrong in your movement system. We work to relieve your pain then address the cause to prevent it recurring. We want you to move well.
